Date of Death: 6/23/2003
I knew Ricky from 2nd grade on to graduation. He was a good guy with a big heart. He was in my cub scout troop and many classes at Truett, Gaston and BA. He had a '68 Torino and I had a '64 impala. Any time were were in close proximity on the road, the race was on. Not going to say who ever won...but it was always a thrill. Ben Tyner

I knew Rickey mostly in elementary and jr. high. He lived 2 streets over and we were in cub scouts together. What I remember most about him is that he was a big kid and he was usually seen defending smaller kids from bullies. RIP
