In Memoriam

Kristi was the sweetest person I had ever had the pleasure to know. She and I would hang out together and she lived on Lake Highlands drive. I named my first child after her. Kristina. I worked for her father at Steakley Chevrolet for several years. I didn't know about this until just now looking at the pictures. She will forever hold a dear place in my heart. I will miss you Christy. Love you always Peggi Vaughn

Oh, Christy You are one of the sweetest souls I've ever known. So many wonderful memories. You took on much too much pain from this world. My warmest tribute to your wonderful spirit. I'm going to go cry now. I love you so much. Bill MacManus

I was so shocked when I found out about Christy's death. We were best friends in junior high and still somewhat close in high school. She was a very sweet and lively girl. She'd always get in trouble with her mom over Jimmy in elementary and junior high. So funny! Her mom was a hoot. I believe Wanda passed away slightly before Christy sometime in January of this year I remember how she and I decided one night we would chain smoke some Kools in her bedroom. Her mom came flying down the hallway saying that the house was on fire. God....we were in so much trouble, but really laughed about it later about how really stupid we were. I'll really miss Christy and her laugh. We didn't see much of each other after high school. We had our own directions to go. You'll be missed Christy with your sweet smile and beautiful eyes.
